Samsung Galaxy Tab Brief Review
Samsung Galaxy Tab

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is considered to be the first serious contender to the iPad's spot as the king of tablets. It bests the iPad in several ways: It's smaller, lighter, and all-around more portable. It has both a front and rear camera, where the iPad has neither. And it has and it runs on Android 2.2, which allows for a more open-ended experience than Apple's iOS (including support for Flash video!). But, the Android Marketplace isn't equipped for tablets yet, so you're left to run apps made for phones on a larger screen, and for some reviewers, the 7-inch screen is too small for comfortable typing, but still too big to carry around in anything other than a bag. It's up to personal taste to determine which is the winner, but as of right now, consumers have two excellent slate choices: the Galaxy Tab, and the iPad.
